Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard has admitted that Ronaldinho is likely to have played his last game for the club.
Although negotiations between Ronaldindho and AC Milan have hit a stumbling block with the two clubs yet to agree a transfer fee for the Brazilian international, Rijkaard believes the player's future lies away from the Nou Camp.
In an interview with TV3, Rijkaard said: "His injuries are a pity, but I'm with him. We must not forget everything he has done for this club. I hope he can bounce back and demonstrate to the world of football who he is."
Asked who or what was to blame for Ronaldinho's situation, Rijkaard replied: "You have to look at everything that has happened and not forget what he has done for us. I am not overprotecting him. He is a player who has not caused problems."
When asked if there was any doubt Ronaldinho would be leaving this summer, Rijkaard refused to answer, but added: "If he is to play again (at the Nou Camp), he has to be fit."
Frank Rijkaard admits him self he's unsure if he will be with Barcelona next season.
The Barca coach told TV3: "I am eager to comply and now I want to work. Then we will see at the end of the season. The club always has helped me a lot but we must see what is best for the institution."
